Orchid Garden
Ecuador is home to more than 4000 species of Orchids. In fact, 1 out of every 4 plants will be an Orchid. Tour the Garden of Orchids to discover a few these amazing and beautiful plants. The guided tour will last approximately 20 minutes, then feel free to explore.
Hummingbird Garden
The hostel El Descanso is known for its garden that attracts more than 20 different species of hummingbirds. Reserve rooms for a weekend getaway, or tour and stroll through the flora and fauna. Species that can be seen in the gardens include: Fiery Topaz, Buff-tailed Sicklebill, Black-tailed Trainbearer and White-necked Jacobin.
